Parenting Education

Our 16-week Intensive Parenting Education program is provided to parents who need assistance with implementing age-appropriate discipline, understanding their child and, or adolescent, re-building the child-parent relationship, and utilizing practical communication skills. Our parenting education curriculum uses evidence-based family skills training interventions for high-risk and general population families.

Class Requirements:

Class sign in is counted as attendance. If you do not sign into class, you will be counted absent.
You are considered tardy after 10 minutes
Three occurrences of tardiness equal 1 absence
After three unexcused absences you will be dropped from the course
You are allowed three excused absences ( court, medical)-you must provide written proof of the absence for your record.
If you are dropped from the course or fail, you have the option to re-enroll in the course for the next cohort.
If you require special assistance, please speak with the instructor privately.

Final Parenting Exam:10%

This course is pass or fail. In order to pass the parent must have a cumulative grade of 90 or above.
