Internships
Our internship program is designed to prepare counseling and social work students with the tutelage needed to become successful and knowledgeable licensed professionals. Here at Clinical Counseling and Consulting Services, PLLC (CCCS), interns will have the opportunity to gain experience working with various types of treatment modalities, cultures, and mental health, developmental disabilities, and addiction diagnoses. Our goal is to assist our interns with gaining professional self-actualization and self-efficacy through fostering their clinical expertise and overall confidence in their ability to provide ethical, competent, and effective treatment.
Internship Requirements
Must be a graduate student in a social work or mental health counseling program. The programs must allow the student to obtain clinical licensure post-graduation. The social work program must be accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). The mental health counseling program must be accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP).
- Must possess a semester and cumulative 3.0 grade point average
- Must not be listed on the North Carolina Healthcare Registry
- Must pass a background check
