To provide you with high quality behavioral health care it is important for you to keep your scheduled appointment with your treatment provider. Missed appointments and late cancellations of an appointments result in lost time which could have been given to other individuals waiting to receive care. We receive daily calls for appointments from both old and new patients. By cancelling your appointment as soon as possible, we can assist other patients who are waiting to be seen.
Our office will attempt to send electronic notification to remind you of your appointment; however, it is your responsibility to keep record of your appointment and to arrive on time. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call 24 hours in advance between the hours of 9:00 am and 6:00pm. For after hour cancellations we have an answering service for your convenience.
Patients who cancel appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice will be considered a No-Show. Every No-Show visit will be recorded in your chart.
Two consecutive Cancellations or No-Show appointments will end your ability to schedule appointments and receive services from the agency.
We realize that an emergency may occur, and you may not be able to notify us. This type of situation is managed on a case-by-case basis.
If you require schedule modifications to assist with time management needs, we will do our best to accommodate. However, on some occasions we may not be able to do so, which will result in us referring you to another agency for continued care.
Also, if you are scheduled for weekly appointments, but Cancel or No-Show every other week or deviate from your current scheduled time, we will discuss adjusting your schedule to suit your ability to attend appointments. If we cannot accommodate, we will provide you with a referral to another agency for continued care.
Thank you for working with us to ensure that services are provided to all our patients in the best possible way.
